- Facilitate PCR testing for symptomatic patients, referred by health partners, ops cell staff, UNHCR public Health Unit, and other key functions staff, and who are identified through the community work, contact tracing, health centers and other activities; coordinate with Nextcare delegate for the PCR test coverage.
- Follow up with MOPH-ESU and Health partners in front of cluster of suspected cases in need for PCR testing.
- Support when needed in close contact tracing in coordination with Ministry of Public Health-Epidemiological Surveillance Unit (MoPH-ESU); ensure sharing at daily level with MoPH-ESU the close contact tracing results performed by them and/or the ops cell team.
- Follow up with the health partners for the suspected cases referred by the community health volunteers on KOBO ODK referral tool to trigger/ensure a proper action plan and follow up.
- Coordinate with the Assistant field officer for any intervention required from the Rapid Response Team (RRT) and ensure a follow up with the triggered RRT in the active informal settlement where COVID 19 cases are detected.
- Coordinate with UNHCR Public Health Units at the different field offices for the trigger of RRT and/or follow up of cases and/or their close contacts at their field level.
- Coordinate with MoPH-ESU and Assistant field officer for the isolation lifting at Informal settlements level.
- Facilitate the admission of patients in need for simple or ICU COVID 19 bed in coordination with Next care delegates; coordinate with the latter for the admissions coverage.
- Maintain tracking of case, manage information and mapping, as needed, and share the line list reporting with UNHCR PHU on a weekly basis.
- Ensure the coordination with the ops cell, and if needed with different partners and sectors for the different needs expressed by the positive cases and close contacts (e.g., need for psychological support, need for assistance, and others, ….)
- Coordinate with UNHCR PHU and the partners for the enrolment of SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test Kit according to the SOP.
- Follow up regularly when needed with the patients having positive COVID 19 status and their close contacts.
- Provide information sharing for the patients with positive COVID 19 status and their close contacts related to access to PCR testing, different important hotline numbers, hospitals network, health services at PHCC level, and other important and relevant information.
- Provide awareness/health education for COVID 19 prevention when contacting the patients with positive COVID 19 status and their close contacts.
- Regularly coordinate with UNHCR and ops cell, seeking for technical guidance from the PH unit.
- Share with UNHCR Public Health Unit any system issue that need reinforcement/enhancement
- Support in the COVID 19 Vaccine -RCCE accountability plan
- Generate reports as needed
- Support the ops cell when needed
- Undertake any other relevant duties/tasks deemed necessary by UNHCR and Relief International
