Reports to the Financial Coordinator
Review and audit payment requests/documentations to ensure completeness and compliance in order to follow payment process.
Preparing day to day financial payment vouchers, Checks payments and wire transfers.
Quick-Book Data entry for expenses monthly report for HQ controller, and ensures that financial transactions are classified, recorded and summarized properly;
Responsible for preparation of the quarterly income tax on salaries declarations and year end income tax.
Responsible for preparation of the monthly NSSF Social Security calculation and payments and year end NSSF declaration
Ensure timely monthly closing and prepare the monthly financial reports to be reviewed by the Finance Manager.
Manage identifying the new projects to the system with confirmed codes.
Manage the adjustment entries.
Manage the Prepaid accounts.
Ensures compliance with RI Procurement, Field Accounting, donor and audit requirements and procedures.
Monitors the financial aspects of sub grant agreements of partner organizations.
Ensures preparation of Field Office Financial documents for external and internal audits.
Maintain effective communication with team within the finance department.
Perform other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
This position demands a dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment.
A minimum of 4years' experience in finance position preferably with non-profit agencies.
Minimum BA Degree in Accounting or finance.
Previous experience in NSSF Social security and taxation.
The candidate must be detail-oriented.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
Familiar with Netsuite softwae or any similar software
Excellent knowledge of Excel required.
Excellent command of English strongly preferred.

Good team-work skills and ability to work quickly under deadlines
Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Ability to think critically and creatively.
