The Consultant will be required to develop a core minimum training package on GBV/CP for RI frontline healthcare workers, in additional to select ‘add-on’ modules covering topics specific for RI Mobile Medical Units (doctors, nurses, midwives) and outreach workers (Hygiene Promoters and Community Nutrition Promoters).
The Consultant will define the content of the training curriculum in coordination with RI GBV/CP and Health Program teams based on existing needs. Training topics will include GBV/CP core concepts, safe identification and referral and specific modules on sexual and reproductive health, family planning, community mobilization.
Timeframe for curriculum development: 21 days.
The Consultant will be responsible for the delivery and facilitation of all training activities on GBV/CP pertaining to the developed curriculum for RI frontline healthcare workers, including initial and refresher trainings.
Trainings will take place in Beirut/Mt Lebanon, Triopli and Zahle for the following groups: Mobile Medical Unit doctors; Mobile Medical Unit nurses and midwives; Community Nutrition Promoters; Hygiene Promoters. (Logistics support for organizing and arranging trainings will be provided by the RI GBV/CP Team).
A total of 39 training facilitation days (inclusive of initial and refresher training courses). Training schedule to be finalized with Program Teams.
