Health Officer

On a daily basis, support the health staff of MOPH and MOSA PHC and MMU in the area in delivering quality health services Closely monitor the epidemiological situation in the area with the aim of timely responding to all  health related emergencies, including controlling the prevention and  spread of communicable diseases in the targeted areas; Monitor  preventive and curative health care  conducted by health teams  in the host communities and giving recommendations for strengthening the awareness rising activities in host communities in his/her area Ensure availability of all supplies and equipment needed for mobile teams in his area and submit weekly request for drugs and supplies to Health Coordinator Ensure  that MMU follow the approved schedules of field visits Hold weekly meetings with mobile team staff to identify their needs and constraints and inform the Program Manager. Support and liaise with health staff in MMU and PHC treating children with MAM and SAM. Assist Health Coordinator in conduction of training for all RI and PHC staff in emergency preparedness and response To set the monthly work plans for MMU team To assist Health Coordinator in provision of supplies and equipment to PHC according their needs. Responsible for collecting the monthly reporting  from MMU and PHC in his/her area, compiling and submission to Health Coordinator
