· Provide support and counselling to breastfeeding mothers referred by the CHWs in the field or identified at PHC level;
· Assist and give one-on-one counseling sessions related to optimal Infant and young child feeding practices at field level and at the Primary health care centers;
· Conduct regular follow-up visits to mothers to ensure exclusive breastfeeding;
· Provide training on IYCF to staff at PHCs, program staff and CHWs as needed;
· Record and keep collected information on numbers of women seen per day and produce daily reports using data entry formats in tablets generated for standard
reporting;
· Report daily and weekly to the Nutrition Coordinator on all conducted activities and field visits.
· Support CHWs in the peer to peer sessions at community level.

- 1. Nurse, midwife preferred or any related field;
- 2. Has completed the 20-hour training on Infant and Young Child Feeding;
- 3. At least two years of related experience;
- 4. Knowledge of local and cultural thoughts, behaviors, and attitudes towards maternal and child health.
- 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 6. Self-motivated and initiative taker;
- 7. Good report writing skills;
- 8. Excellent skills related to Microsoft Office;
- 9.Willingness to travel as required for the successful implementation of the role
