Logistic Assistant

Assist the project as requested by the logistic officer Procure various items as requested and in consultation by the Program Manager and Team leaders in a timely and accountable manner.  The staff member is responsible balancing quality and price and that RI procurement and policies, including the bidding process, are followed. Coordinate with the Operations Manager and Logistic Officer to ensure that field teams are adequately equipped and supplied for every day trips. Assist in organizing day-by-day transportation of  RI employees  and supplies to and from various locations throughout the project sites Ensure inventories are fully accounted for and maintained in a secure place that prevents both theft and spoilage. Ensure the mobile teams vehicles are ready for every day trips, adequately equipped and supplied with fuel. Ensure the rented vehicles for mobile teams are in good working order and drivers inspected the vehicles each time before driving.  Follow and make sure that RI drivers keep all vehicle documents updated with correct information’s Monitor that drivers take care of all the safety measures, including seat-belts Follow with drivers the rented vehicles preparedness, conditions and maintenance of the vehicles In coordination with the Logistics Officer to ensure all team members have the facilities to accomplish their duties Help RI program staff achieve objectives through program
