Monitoring & Evaluation Volunteer

Relief International is a humanitarian non-profit agency that provides emergency relief, rehabilitation, development assistance, and program services to vulnerable communities worldwide. Currently the Lebanese office is solely dedicated to reducing human suffering in non-political and non-sectarian matter by working on an educational program for helpless Syrian kids living on the Lebanese territory.  We are looking for a motivated volunteer to join our team and provide support for the Monitoring and Evaluation department by fulfilling requested tasks, which include: assisting in data collection, data entry, doing field visits to schools, etc... The Lebanese office will provide any training required for completing the tasks, and after concluding his/her volunteering a certificate will be provided, as an acknowledgement and appreciation to the dedicated volunteer. TOR Monitoring & Evaluation Volunteer The following responsibilities fall under the TOR of the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Volunteer Tasks: To assist the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Department in the data collection process from the field in a timely and efficient manner; To assist in the data entry and data inputting; To assist in the writing of reports (if need be and required); Monitoring in the field through the taking of pictures, anecdotal reporting, case reports, and other means requested; To translate assessment tools from English to Arabic and vice versa upon request; Other duties and tasks assigned Qualifications: A university student and/or a holder of a university degree – preferably in statistics or social sciences; Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Arabic; Must be knowledgeable about Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and SPSS; Committed and enthusiastic about learning about the NGO field; Able to maintain confidentiality regarding the information derived from the various monitoring tools and needs assessments conducted
