RI’s Municipality Liaison Officer will ensure that the PH Committee have regular meetings and will be responsible for assisting the municipalities in the development of reports as needed; in addition to collecting and compiling reports to be submitted to RI.
As requested, ensure providing adequate guidance and monitoring regarding the implementation of health assessments and activities which will be directly managed and implemented by the selected municipality;
Support the municipality in formation of public health committee and provide adequate guidance and monitoring for the implementation of health needs assessments and orientation of funds towards effective and tailored activities;
Ensure active presence and participation of relevant Municipal staff and the formed Public Health Committee in the trainings supported by RI;
Ensure active presence and participation in the regular meetings with municipal staff and Public health committee to support the municipality in reaching its objectives;
Regularly provide the Municipalities with support for appropriate engagement; the job holder is expected to report any major obstacles to the direct supervisor;
Act as a daily key point of contact with the municipal staff to ensure that the proposed activities and plans are implemented in an effective and efficient manner;
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism while working or coordinating with the people we serve, their family members, and any internal or external party; any incident or work-related conflict should be immediately reported to the Program Coordinator. The Job holder should avoid going into any work-related communication which might jeopardize the relationship of RI with any party;
The job holder should demonstrate a high level of cultural sensitivity, professionalism, politeness and objectivity when dealing with the people we serve and all internal/external parties under all circumstances;
Responsible for assisting the municipalities in the development of reports as needed; in addition to collecting and compiling the weekly & monthly reports and submission to the public health officer in a timely manner.
The job holder must ensure that the reports are developed while emphasizing quality and accuracy at all times.
Actively participate in coordination meetings when requested by the direct supervisor.
