Sexual And Gender Based Violence-Program Coordinator

Under the supervision of the SGBV Program Manager, provide technical leadership related to project design and development, planning implementation, and overall implementation of the SGBV program. Coordinate and facilitate project-related training activities, including organizing and arranging logistics, delivering training modules, and developing monitoring and evaluation tools in cooperation with the SGBV team. Provide management oversight and guidance to SGBV Team Leaders (covering Beirut, Mt Lebanon and North Lebanon) in the development and implementation of awareness campaigns, trainings on SGBV prevention and referral pathways and conducting safety audits. Provide ongoing training and guidance to staff to ensure SGBV programming meets best practice standards and prioritizes the safety and security of beneficiaries and staff, including the employment of a gender-sensitive and survivor-centered approach. Provide ongoing technical support and mentorship for the SGBV team leaders and mobilizers to develop professional and technical competency. Coordinate with RI Education, Health and Hygiene Promotion teams to build their capacity in SGBV prevention and referral and to ensure RI staff adhere to a survivor centred approach and guiding principles. Advocate for quality SGBV prevention and response services and the integration of protection and gender considerations in other sectors to promote risk reduction among beneficiaries. Conduct field visits and assess RI program implementation in coordination with the M&E Officer and SGBV Team Leaders. Develop activity work plans and training schedules and prepare monthly Activity reports for submission to the SGBV Program Manager. Provide technical feedback on monthly narrative reports received from the SGBV program staff, ensuring that established program targets and objectives are being met in accordance with the work plan. Ensure all internal and external narrative reports are of good quality and completed on time, promoting good understanding about projects with donors, other sectors, partners, and communities. Represent RI and regional SGBV Working Group meetings
