Social Assistant

Conducts daily field visits to his/her program area to identify and select Women to be willing to engage in the project Conduct training sessions on health and nutrition education while addressing the most common problems facing women refugees Build the capacity of the women for active participation and control of communicable diseases, safe identification and referrals of GBV survivors and Mental Health illnesses, and malnutrition in their communities  Raise the awareness of the communities on health promotion aspects for early preparedness and response to outbreaks, and transmission and prevention of common communicable diseases (diarrhea and acute respiratory diseases)and skin diseases Develop and disseminate appropriate public health education messages encouraging people to seek early care for fever, cough, diarrhea, malnutrition, especially pregnant women and children and how to access relevant services  Supervise the day-by-day work and follow up on the achievements of the Women Team Leaders by collecting their weekly updates on referrals Create a link between the Women Team Leaders and RI supported PHCCs Participate in weekly staff meetings Submit timely reporting as required
