Team Supervisor

  • Assist in selecting the team staff by supporting in identification of team members and conducting interviews as needed.
  • Provide technical and administrative assistance to the Community Health Workers’ Supervisor and Rapid Response Teams (RRT) by preparing capacity building trainings for the staff and conducting field visits to monitor field activities.
  • Closely coordinate with the Public Health Officer and the other Team Supervisor to mobilize available Rapid Response Teams in specific locations.
  • Prepare on-call schedule for RRTs and back-up team and ensure response within 6-8h to any mobilization call, while coordinating with the other Team Supervisor.
  • Maintain close coordination with other actors at field level in North and Akkar areas, WASH actors and protection focal points as needed.
  • Conduct regular field visits (at least 3/week) with RCCE and RRT personnel to confirm quality of work.
  • Schedule on-call days with PHO and fellow Team Supervisor and maintain responsiveness during on-calls.
  • Ensure reporting on all suspected Cholera cases investigated by RI’s teams and communicate findings and follow-up with key stakeholders and referrals.
  • Follow up on the investigated cases after initial assessment by RRT, ensure adequate referral to services (PHCCs, hospitals, etc) and discuss cases with Field Medical Coordinator as needed.
  • Ensure Social Stability in areas of tension and report to the PHO and Health Program Coordinator in cases of incidents or tension on the field.
  • Support the PHO with stock management of ORS, PPE and/or donation kits and ensure available quantities with the field teams.
  • Collect documentation from teams and ensure adequate Means of Verification for all field activities including distribution and capacity building activities, while coordinating with MEAL
  • Support the PHO in programmatic tasks, reporting, target achievement and other tasks as needed.
