Warehouse Assistant

Responsible for collection and storage of all kind of donations received by RI Lebanon program from international and local donors. Allocate space for all incoming supplies and documents their arrival. Provide and follow all security and fire regulations in the warehouse territory.  Follow schedule and inventory procedures as articulated by the Logistic officer. Immediately inform the Logistic Officer if there is any need to leave the warehouse or any attempt to steal items from the warehouse and take all necessary measures to prevent it. Ensure proper information receipt is done Maintain proper stacking system for commodity receipt  Regularly update inventory ledger and stock cards on receipt information Review inventory and reception/distribution of supplies on weekly basis with the Program Managers Ensure all differences and under weight commodities are well documented and  reported. File copies of waybills for receipt and dispatch Open the store for ventilation every day Ensure the cleaning of the warehouse and the near area of the store  Immediate report on any discrepancies or theft noticed on food stocks  Register daily warehouse data on commodity status   Prepare monthly commodity reports to track all donations received by RI Lebanon Country office following RI standard Commodity Report Form Prepare loss and adjustment reports  Any other duties as directed by the Logistic Officer / Program Managers. Employee is required to spend 90% of his time at warehouse, and expected to be send to the field when required
