Excavation, backfilling, compaction, and transportation works

René Moawad Foundation (RMF) is launching a tender for “Excavation, backfilling, compaction, and transportation works” under SIRCLES project.

SIRCLES -Supporting Circular Economy (CE) Opportunities for Employment and Social Inclusion- is a far-reaching project that contributes precisely in that direction, with ambitious goals & clear benefits for the MED Sea Basin.

The project provides marketable skills for the future and new job opportunities in the CE and bio-waste (BW) management sectors for NEET & Women. The recognised potential of the CE sector to create jobs and boost the economy, whilst safeguarding the environment (EC and ILO), has encouraged a large partnership of social inclusion stakeholders and organisations from the civil society, public and private sectors coming from Greece, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Spain & Tunisia.

In all these countries, NEET & Women will be offered tailor-made trainings on BW management, entrepreneurial and soft skills, as well as job opportunities along the BW loop in separation, collection, composting and farming.

Education: The contractor must have among his team a Civil Engineer preferably he should be the point of contact.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Excavation, compaction, removal of earth material, transportation of soil, etc…
• Relevant experience in working for governments and/or international organizations on consultancy assignments, especially in strategic communications planning.
• Proven track record of well delivered contracting projects. Letters of recommendations are an advantage.
• Sound knowledgeable of the institutions of Mediterranean region and international organizations such as the EU as an advantage;

• Own at least one crawler excavator
• Own at least one hauler truck
• Own at least one roller soil compactor
• Must have a registered company specialized in earthworks, civil works, excavation works, pavement works or any other related field

• Cut 300 cubic meters of soil
• Fill 280 cubic meters of soil
• Compact 850 sqm using drum rollers to the elevations specified in the technical requirements
• Remove 4 steel drums weighing 5000kgs (L: 8m D: 2.8m) using the excavator 250 m away from the site

• Deadline to present proposals: April 15, 2022
• Works must be concluded 15 days after contract signature
