Job Coach - North Lebanon- ILO ENABLE Project

The Rene Moawad Foundation is seeking to recruit a Job Coach in North Lebanon for the project entitled “Towards Improved National Active Labor Market Interventions for Socio-Economic Inclusion” implemented in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO).
The project aims to enhance economic inclusion and financial self-reliance of vulnerable beneficiaries by facilitating access to skills development, career guidance, and employment opportunities in collaboration with the private sector.

2. Position Overview
The Job Coach will serve as a key field focal point between project beneficiaries, participating enterprises, and the RMF project team. The role will support the implementation of project activities related to beneficiary profiling, career guidance, training support, and employment placement.
The Job Coach will contribute to beneficiary outreach, support training activities, facilitate communication between enterprises and beneficiaries, and monitor progress during the employment placement period.
The Job Coach will report directly to the Project Manager and coordinate closely with the RMF project team and relevant stakeholders.

3. Responsibilities
Beneficiary Outreach and Profiling
• Support the identification and screening of potential project beneficiaries.
• Conduct interviews and assessments to identify beneficiaries’ skills, needs, and employment interests.
• Maintain regular communication with beneficiaries throughout the project cycle.
Training and Career Guidance Support
• Support the delivery of career guidance and employability sessions.
• Monitor beneficiary participation during training activities.
• Provide guidance and motivation to beneficiaries throughout the training phase.
Job Placement and Coordination
• Facilitate coordination between beneficiaries and participating enterprises.
• Support the organization of interviews and placement processes.
• Assist beneficiaries in adapting to workplace requirements.
Monitoring and Follow-up
• Conduct regular follow-up visits with beneficiaries and enterprises during the employment period.
• Identify challenges faced by beneficiaries and propose solutions in coordination with the project team.
• Document progress and provide updates to the Project Manager.

4. Professional Skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with communities living in vulnerable situations and diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage field activities.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).

5. Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Human Resources, Labor Economics, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in livelihoods, employment services, social development programs, or community-based initiatives.
• Experience working with NGOs or development projects in Lebanon is highly desirable.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations or employment programs is considered an asset.

6. Duration of the Assignment
The Job Coach will be contracted for up to 140 working days during the project implementation period.

7. Location of the Assignment
The Job Coach will be based at RMF offices in Beirut, with field activities across Beirut, South Lebanon, and Bekaa, depending on project needs.
