Mid Term Evaluation Consultant for Dutch Project

The Rene Moawad Foundation is seeking to recruit a Mid Term Evaluation Consultant for "Strengthening Exports of Fruits and Vegetables from Lebanon to EUropean and Regional Markets" project specified in this Request for Proposal (RFP).

All proposal provided should meet the specification(s) listed in the attached TOR.

DURATION AND DATES
The duration of the assignment will be around 20 working days, and fixed after reviewing the timeframe and the methodology. This evaluation will begin in the second week of March 2022.
Timetable indicatively broken down as follow:

• Preparation (preparation methodology, work plan, inception report) – 3 days
• Briefings / Debriefings – 2 days
• Field work – 8 days
• Report writing & data analysis – 7 Days
• Total: 20 Days

The final report has to be submitted by April 8, 2022.

PROFILE OF THE CONSULTANT
1. Education: Advanced university degree in Agriculture or rural development or any other relevant discipline.
2. Technical capacity: the consultant(s) with practical experience in the following project fields.

• Agriculture and rural development, and development of enterprise support institutions.
• Value-chain assessment and development
• Organizational capacity assessment
• Minimum 3 years proven experience in development project evaluation and/or humanitarian programs implemented by international aid organizations
• Fluent English and good writing skills (the report should be in English)

3. Demonstrated experience in dealing with the agricultural and business sectors in Lebanon.
