Field Coordinator

The Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking a “field coordinator” for its USAID-funded “Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods- PSL” Project, which was awarded by USAID to RMF in September 2020. The PSL project aims to improve the livelihoods of residents of target municipalities through training, technical assistance, infrastructure rehabilitation, and marketing and improve and upgrade existing assets in their municipalities. The PSL goal is to sustain the livelihoods of 31,500 households across 7 clusters joining 130 municipalities in the North, Bekaa, South and Mount Lebanon areas (first phase).

Position summary

The field coordinator will be responsible of the day-to-day field operations of RMF PSL project, which will be implemented in the South of Lebanon.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Facilitate and take part of implementation of project activities in targeted areas.
• Summarize, evaluate and update on a regular basis the activities in accordance with the established planning schedules.
• Maintain regular contact with Municipalities and local partners
• Liaise with other organizations, if needed.
• Determine any changes to the plan and report to the Operation Manager.
• Contribute to the monthly activities report.
• Coordinate with municipalities and other relevant stakeholders
• Assisting in collecting all needed data.
• Identify and report success stories.

• Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic; French is a plus

Qualification

• Should be holder of a Lebanese Baccalaureate degree with at least 4 years of relevant work experience or Bachelor degree with 2 years of experience in relevant field.
• Experience in NGOs field operations, preferably on USAID projects
• Should possess a car or other means of transportation.
