Gender and GBV Trainer/Consultant

RMF is a Lebanese NGO working to develop and enhance Lebanese society through improving education, economic empowerment, provision of social and health care to the most marginalized and needy communities throughout Lebanon. Currently, RMF is implementing a project funded by PLAN International in the North governorate. The Project’s overall objective is to protect at-risk adolescent girls and boys between 11 and 18 years old (Syrian, Lebanese and/or other nationalities) from violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation and empower them to raise their voice to claim their right to protection and gender equality.

• The Gender and GBV trainer should have a deep understanding for the project and all of its components, targets and areas of implementation.
• Based on the above, the trainer should develop a 3 days duration specific (or modified based on an existing) training material.
• The tailored training curriculum should be negotiated and approved by RMF and PLAN International.
• Trainer should propose a list of needed materials (stationaries, equipment…) to be provided by RMF who will be also responsible for logistics requirements.
• Trainer is responsible of delivering the training to RMF staff (minimum of 6 staff members).

Expertise:

• The trainer should have a degree level in Gender studies, Sociology, Development studies or any other related field.
• Previous training experience related to Gender and GBV.
• Experience in Project development and training materials development.
• Professional communication and facilitation skills.

Reporting:

• The trainer should be using a pre/post questionnaire in order to evaluate the training efficiency.
• A briefed report should be provided to RMF at the end of the training sessions.
