The René Moawad Foundation has a zero tolerance to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse of beneficiaries. The René Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking a “life skills facilitator” for its GIZ funded project. The project aims to improve employability and ability to increase income generation for youth and women in T5. This action aims to focus both on the needs of Lebanese population.
Position summary
The life skills facilitator will be responsible of conducting life skills sessions focusing on positive leadership, employability skills and / or career guidance, which will be implemented in North Lebanon.
Major Responsibilities
- Facilitate life skills sessions with youth and women in North Lebanon.
- Attend training and capacity building opportunities.
- Plan and prepare logistics for life skills activities.
- Coordinate with the project officer to ensure proper implementation of the project. Plan, organize and run activities with youth and women while facilitating and encouraging their participation.
- Ensure activities run in a timely manner to ensure the successful implementation of the project.
- Ensure that youth and women are all involved in the activity.
- Deal with difficult behaviors (conflict, aggressiveness, introversion) and understand the reason behind the behavior to positively communicate with the situation.
- Ensure that youth and women under her/his responsibility are not exposed to any form of Harm or stress during the activities.
- Collect data on the activities organized and ensure that all the relevant forms are duly filled.
- Identify key protection issues or threats affecting children and adolescents and raise them to the project officer.
- Ensure all project means of verifications (MOV) including attendance sheets, pre posttests, evaluation documents etc are in place.
- Fill and archive specific forms for referrals and weekly reporting, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and timeliness.

Knowledge and abilities
- Candidates must have skills in working with youth and women.
- High integrity in social interactions.
- Previous experience in implementing life skills activities with special focus on positive leadership, employability skills and career guidance.
