ToT Training on SRHR and SGBV issues

Objective:

To conduct a ToT training on SRHR and SGBV issues to 30 persons of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) service providers on providing adolescent-friendly, gender- and age appropriate services including safe and confidential child protection and SGBV case referrals.

The candidates will be grouped into 2 groups (15 each) and will be participating in three training days each.

Background & Requirements:

René Mouawad Foundation RMF is a Lebanese NGO working to develop and enhance Lebanese society through improving education, economic empowerment, provision of social and health care to the most marginalized and needy communities throughout Lebanon.

The project goal is to empower young married girls aged between 11 and 24 years old and provide them with new opportunities through basic life skills curricula, basic literacy and numeracy and vocational trainings.

To this end, RMF seeks to engage a qualified trainer to deliver a strong training package to 30 service providers by developing their knowledge on providing adolescent-friendly, gender- and age appropriate services including safe and confidential child protection and SGBV case referrals.

Methodology and Procedure:

The trainer should:

• Use a highly interactive training methodology and assure  wide involvement from the trainees;
• Develop with the trainees a PSS session methodologies/ techniques, this may include creative tools such as games, songs;
• Conduct and practice sessions with feedback and role play;
• Secure the training materials;
• Deliver the training related materials in Arabic.
• Draft report on the conducted training.
• Trainer should be using a pre/posttest in order to evaluate the training efficiency.

RMF should:

• Approve the tailored training material;
• Ensure the logistic requirements (conference room, projector, flip chart, note books, pens,…)

Competencies:

• University degree, social work, psychology; and at least 5 years of professional work experience  in Community Based Psychosocial Support activities, or another relevant experience;
• Excellent Facilitation Skills
• Relevant expertise in curriculum and manual development in PSS;
