- Evaluate psychological symptoms and disorders among detainees referred to by the team.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for each detainee and adjust them as needed.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to address symptoms and measure treatment progress.
- Adapt psychological approaches to the cultural, ideological, and personal context of the inmates.
- Create and lead group therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of special cases.
- Implement culturally sensitive interventions, acknowledging the diversity of beliefs and backgrounds.
- Maintain and submit record sheets for each session conducted with beneficiaries.
- Provide a discharge plan for each beneficiary who completes the course of treatment.
- Prepare and submit mental health reports upon request.
- Compile and submit monthly reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and case studies.
- Provide follow-up checklists and beneficiary lists on a monthly basis using pre-assigned templates.
- Engage in team meetings, seminars, peer supervisions, case studies, and capacity-building opportunities.
- Take part in care-for-caregivers activities, including debriefing sessions.
- Attend individual supervision sessions with Restart Center’s Clinical Advisor once per month.
- Assess all signs and sequelae of psychological torture and ill-treatment.
- Complete documentation and compile reports in compliance with applicable standards and procedures, including the Istanbul Protocol.
- Administer clinical assessments and screening tools at baseline, midway through treatment, and at the end of treatment.
- Implement child protection measures and ensure the psychological well-being of minors in detention.
- Adhere to the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policies and the organization's Code of Conduct (COC).
- Master’s degree in clinical psychology.
- Official license to practice in Lebanon (issued by the Ministry of Public Health - MOPH).
- A minimum of two to three years of experience in clinical psychology.
- Fluency in English and Arabic language, proficiency in French is considered an asset.
Additional training in areas such as trauma, child psychology, or Correctional psychology is advantageous.
