Job duties:
Conduct psychological assessments of inmates to evaluate mental health status, risk of harm to self or others, and rehabilitation needs.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support inmates’ mental health, emotional regulation, and reintegration.
Develop treatment plans tailored to each inmate’s psychological and criminogenic needs.
Support crisis intervention, including suicide prevention and management of acute mental health episodes.
Provide expert input for case management teams regarding inmates’ psychological status.
Collaborate with medical staff, and social workers to ensure integrated care.
Maintain detailed and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and treatment progress.
Conduct post-intervention evaluations to measure outcomes and risk reduction.
Minimum Education:
Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Forensic Psychology.
Valid license/registration to practice psychology
Minimum Experience:
At least 2–3 years of experience in clinical, counseling, or forensic settings.
Prior experience in correctional, forensic, or high-risk environments strongly preferred.
Foreign Language Requirements:
Proficiency in arabic.
Working knowledge of English (written and spoken) is required for reporting and professional communication.
