Tasks:

  • Ensure that the project's expected results are achieved as per the project description and log frame (activities, outputs, outcomes, impact)
  • Develop an action plan for recruitment of beneficiaries
  • Develop and complete tools to track project progress and deliverable such as the Indicator Tracking Table (ITT) and progress narrative reports
  • Hold weekly meetings with all the teams who are involved in project implementation.
  • Ensure that all the tools and processes are standardized across different premises
  • Provide consistent project management guidance, methods, systems, tools and metrics for consistent project outcomes throughout the organization.
  • Review daily reports, documents, emails, and other external communications prepared by the team
  • Coordinate with UNHCR and other donors and respond to their requests and required actions.
  • Develop reports as per the project contract (weekly, monthly, quarterly, final narrative reports, etc.)
  • Develop data collection tools and collect, review and analyze statistics and data
  • Mitigate staff daily challenges (such as challenges in prisons, urgent cases that need prompt attention, etc.)
  • Develop evaluation tools to be completed by staff in order to learn about their achievements, recommendations, challenges and future plans
  • Respond to the donors' monitoring visits and requests and prepare for the donors' visits
  • Attend meetings with donors and other stakeholders
  • Initiate first discussions with key actors and prepare relevant communications (letters, emails, meetings, etc.)
  • Organize and/or deliver capacity building programs targeting staff and/or external participants
  • Address and discuss progress, challenges, amendments, lessons learned and other important information with relevant donors
  • Address team inter-personnel challenges and coordinate with the HR officer in case of challenges
  • Coordinate with the finance department to manage and allocate resources effectively
  • Actively participate in management meetings and contribute to developing policies, strategic plans and other tools
  • Introduce the project services and/or achievements in national and/or international meetings and other conferences (PPT presentations, etc.)
  • Hold meetings with the project director to discuss programs, progress, challenges, limitations and ways forward
  • Ensure that the project's indicators, means of verification and target are achieved and implemented as per the project's log frame

Background: Public health, social work, international law, psychology, or any other related field
At least three years of experience as Project Coordinator under projects funded by UN agencies, PRM, the European Union or other international donors. Experience in the field of migration is also a prerequisite.
