Social Worker Within A Project Funded By Unhcr

The incumbent will be mainly responsible of providing stuctured social counseling and follow-up for the beneficiaries attending the center. Tasks: Introducing our services to all refugees approaching the center for the 1st time. Conducting exploration interviews to assess the overall psycho-social and physical conditions of each new beneficiary. Identifying vulnerable cases (Torture, SGBV, LGBTI, Women at risk…) and providing them with structured social intervention. Coordinating with the center's specialists to discuss specific cases. Coordinating with the secretary to set appointments for each beneficiary according to the referral done by the head of the rehabilitation unit. Follow up with the beneficiaries appointments. Conducting home visits based on the needs. Providing the beneficiary’s family with information regarding his progress and treatment obtains. Attending and participating actively in regular meetings, seminars and trainings as indicated by the program coordinator or Restart director. Offering information and counseling support to beneficiaries and their families. Drafting detailed reports for vulnerable cases describing their psychological conditions and the services provided for them by the center to address their psychological disorders. Coordinating with, and making referrals to, other NGOs. Participating in multidisciplinary teams and meetings as indicated by the program coordinator or Restart director. Participating in the administrative preparations of the meetings and trainings organized by Restart. Participating in team meetings and case studies. Undergoing individual or Peer supervisions when needed.
