Community Social Worker

Tasks & Responsabilities:

- Conduct all psychosocial support activities as planned and requested by CBP officer: life skills trainings, learning activities, CGs, skills trainings, awareness sessions in both CDC and outreach as needed.

-Initiate the planning of creative proposals and implementing special occasion activities.

-Contribute to establishing and implementing operational work plans.

- The Community Social Worker is responsible for linking the community to the CDC, conducting outreach based on identified community needs, and supporting community-led initiative approaches.

-Prepare awareness, community groups sessions content.

-Ensure data entry on donor’s reporting tool, daily, monthly and weekly reports.

-Follow-up on recruitment of trainers and their payment cycles and report it to the center coordinator.

-Conduct management committee meetings and focus group discussions held to assess PoC’s needs.

-Attend sector coordination relevant meetings.

-Provide direct psychosocial support and refer internally and externally as needed, respecting confidentiality and the right of the beneficiary.

-Respect beneficiary confidentiality.

-Address needs and requests in a professional way.

-Report any incident or act that causes any harm to beneficiary or to others.

-Adhere to all quality standards and procedures.

- Provide support as needed for return activities at CDCs, including crowd management.

- If a referral is identified at the CDC and is not directly referred to the case management team present at the CDC, it should be referred through RIAS.

-Complete all KOBO surveys for classes, including satisfaction, baseline, and endline surveys.

-Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
