Driver

The Driver will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of Ribat Association staff and project-related materials within the SHIELD project target areas. The position ensures adherence to safety standards, organizational policies, and donor requirements while supporting smooth project implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Transportation & Logistics

Safely transport Ribat Association staff between Ayrounieh, Mankoubin, Sheirhmerin, and other assigned locations.

Ensure punctual pickup and drop-off of staff according to daily work plans.

Support transportation of light project materials, documents, and equipment when needed.

Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining flexibility for project needs.

Vehicle Management & Safety

Ensure the vehicle is always clean, operational, and in good condition.

Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, lights, and general safety).

Report any mechanical issues immediately to the supervisor.

Ensure vehicle documents (registration, insurance, maintenance records) are valid and available.

Comply strictly with Lebanese traffic laws and safety regulations.

Administrative & Compliance Support

Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks (mileage, fuel consumption, trips, passengers).

Ensure adherence to Ribat Association policies, safeguarding standards, and code of conduct.

Respect confidentiality of staff and project-related information.
