Hospitality Trainer

Course Details:

 

Under its Objective to improve employment opportunities for vulnerable job seekers and their households, Ribat will hire a trainer or service provider ready to implement market-based skills training in Hospitality (Waiter, secretary, etc..) curriculums should be adaptable to the beginners and intermediates to improve the beneficiaries capacities within the defined field. The course duration is expected to be 32 hours provided 4 days a week, for 4 hours per day over the period of 2 Weeks. The Training should include theoretical content in addition to the practical application of skills taught. The trainer should be able to adapt the training to an online version as needed. Each group will consist of 15 Job seekers (Lebanese and Syrian), female and male aged between 18 and 40 identified by Ribat.

 

Responsibilities:

                                          

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Have a clear curriculum for the mentioned training.
  • Test the level of each candidate.
  • Concentrate on new methods that the participants can use to be more efficient.
  • Provide and conduct training assessment tools (Pre and Post tests)
  • Present a final report about the training including recommendations

 

Experience and technical competencies:

 

  • The selected trainer should have advanced experience in delivering hospitality training; at least 3 years of experience.
  • Strong experience in delivering training to multicultural attendees
  • Knowledge and experience in working with NGOs/ local authorities for at least 3 years
  • Experience in development, design, and facilitation of training programs
  • Capacity to think creatively in dealing with vulnerable audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a supportive technical and communication style
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrated the ability to make effective presentations
  • A clear understanding of the political, geographic, and economic dynamics of the North area
  • Clear articulation of the specific content of the Vocational Training to be delivered
  • Appropriate and clearly explained instruction methodology that encourages trainee participation, effective knowledge retention, and demonstrated capacity
  • Clear demonstration of the capacity to adapt the content of the training to the educational level of participants.
