Project Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare for all projects activities (accelerate and learning skills, Market-based skills, training sessions, CBPSS activities, awareness sessions, life skills sessions, and events).
  • Responsible for collecting attendance sheet for all projects activities ((accelerate and learning skills, Market-based skills, training sessions, CBPSS activities, awareness sessions, life skills sessions, and events) following DRC’s standard attendance template.
  •  With the support of DRC’s G&CE Assistant, enter beneficiaries data to UNHCR’s CDC reporting tool.
  • Participate in the identification of new outreach methods for the beneficiaries.
  • Assist in the filing system (hard & soft copies) of the attendance documents.
  • Regularly scan and organize attendance sheets.
  • Follow-up on beneficiaries’ absences by calling them to report the reason for the absence.
  • follow-up the busses to transport beneficiaries on time.
  • Follow-up on a daily basis with the trainers/coaches to ensure accurate attendance record.
  • Closely coordinates with the protection desk assistant to identify beneficiaries for activities.
  • Ensure the good follow up and regular checkup of the data.
  • Ensure the availability of accurate, correct and complete data.
  • Listen and collect complaints and suggestion from beneficiaries regarding the center activities, staff conduct, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure communication and information sharing on relevant issues with DRC and Ribat assocaition relevant staff.
  • Provide the CDC group with on-going capacity buildings and organize trainings for them.
  • Provide the needed materials for the classes.
  • Ensure to guarantee the data privacy and confidentiality.
  • Ensure data safety through a proper data backup system.
  • Provide assistance in all data related activities in the programme upon request.
  • Flexible for any needed help in data collection, reports, and documents requested by DRC / Ribat Association relevant staff.
  • Establish committees for CDC and solidarity initiatives.
  • Participate in preperation of solidarity initiatives.
  • Present life skills and awareness sessions for the beneficiaries.
  • Participate in preparation of participatory assessments and FGDs.
  • Performs any other tasks, as requested.

 

Experience and technical competencies:

  • Previous experience in working with NGOs.
  • Excellent expertise in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to human rights, gender equality, and non-discrimination
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office package.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Experience in data entry and/or administrative work.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong time management abilities
