- Introduction & Overview
The Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung (RLS) is a German political foundation affiliated with the German party “Die Linke” (the Left party). RLS is dedicated to political education and progressive social research. The RLS Regional Office in Beirut, established in May 2017, primarily supports projects in Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq. Additionally, RLS publishes reports and analyses on developments in Iran.
The RLS Beirut Office invites qualified service providers to submit proposals to deliver technical support and setup services for sound and audiovisual systems for its in-office events. The services include speakers, microphones, projector screen, mixer, and any additional necessary support before and during events such as movie screenings, for an average of 12 events by the end of the year.
2. Scope of Work
The selected vendor will be responsible for the following services:
- Supply high-quality speakers, projector screen, amplifiers, mixers, microphones.
- Install and configure all sound and equipment at RLS office.
- Ensure sound coverage, clarity, mic setup, and system testing.
- Coordinate placement, wiring, and safety of all equipment.
- Provide technical personnel on site during events for monitoring, troubleshooting, and adjustments.
- Ensure seamless operation throughout the event schedule.
- Perform functional testing prior to events.
- Provide basic operation training for Rosa staff or designated users.
3. Proposal Requirements
Proposals should include the following:
- Company information: Legal name, address, and contact details.
- Technical approach: Equipment proposed
- Pricing: Clear cost breakdown (equipment, labor, travel, support, etc.) and terms of payment.
4. Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on:
- Quality of technical proposal
- Cost competitiveness
- Ability to provide day-of event support

Late or incomplete proposals will not be considered.
