Consultant For Weblog/website (Part Time)

Working Time: 16 hours per week (2 days)   Starting Date: 01.11.2017   Main tasks and responsibilities: -        Develop a strategy for building a web-blog on socio-political issues -        Discuss the strategy with stakeholders (journalists, bloggers, political activists) -        Organize meetings and closed workshops on blogs and journalism in Lebanon -        Prepare the technical implementation of a web-blog -        Discuss the process regularly with the RLS team Professional and personal requirements: -        Bachelor’s degree in journalism, multi-media engineering or a related field -        Good analytical and factual understanding of recent political developments in Lebanon -        Good analytical and factual understanding of journalism and blogging in Lebanon and the region -        Professional experience in web development -        Sharing the understandings and values of RLS -        Ability to work in a small team, conduct tasks independently and professionally -        Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic; -        Highly motivated, highly communicative and creative, well-organized   The position will be offered to the selected candidate from 01. November 2017 until 31 January 2018 (three months)
