Translator (German to English and Arabic)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct consecutive and whisper interpretation of spoken content from German to English and Arabic and vice versa.
• Ensure the translated content maintains the intended meaning and conveys the original tone and style Get familiar with RLS programs and documents on migration, food sovereignty and queer organizing in order to become acquainted with specific language and expressions
• Collaborate with the team to clarify ambiguous or unclear terms and phrases.

Requirements:

• Native-level proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.
• Excellent proficiency in German language.
• Proven experience as an oral translator  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
