Web Developer/Web Designer for a new RLS Beirut Office website (Consultancy basis)

Responsibilities of the web developer/web designer:

We are looking for a web developer and web designer (preferably a team with previous work experience together) to design and develop the new RLS Beirut Office website.

Tasks of the web developer/web design

• Producing different sample sites for the new website taking into consideration the required content as well as objective of the website
• Discussing requirements and/or project progress with the RLS Beirut Office team on a regular basis
• Demonstrating and receiving feedback about draft sites
• Writing efficient code for the implementation of the website
• Creating the website using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down
• Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a web designer and web developer
• Fluency in English and Arabic
• Conceptual and social skills, willingness to work independently, responsible and motivated, good teamwork
• Sharing the understandings and values of RLS
