IT Specialist

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications. 
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks. 
  • Configure and maintain ISP, DNS, DHCP, VLans, and access points. 
  • Build firewall rules. 
  • Help in digitalizing the work, processes, and systems.  
  •  Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults and applications problems 
  • Manage the organization's emails and workspaces (Google Workspaces/ Microsoft): users, rules, and payments.  
  • Ensure security and privacy of network and computer systems. 
  • IT Hardware maintenance and Replace parts as required. 
  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports. 
  • Maintaining all prepaid accounts with required subscription plans. 
  • Support the roll-out of new applications. 
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues. 
  • Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs. 
  • Test and evaluate new technology. 
  • Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment. 
  • Exchange server management (Google workspace and Microsoft 365). 
  • ERP systems management (Odoo). 
  •  Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures. 
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time. 
  •  Audit systems and assess their outcomes. 
  • Develop and execute disaster planning to ensure security of data, network access and backup systems. 
  • Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed. 
  •  Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions 
  •  Monitors network utilization and performance, implements procedures for network optimization, reliability, and availability. 
  •  Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure. 
  • Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware 
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory. 
  • Trouble-shoots and solves problems related to hardware, software, and network problems. 
  •  Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes. 
  • Establish a security policy to protect company information and resources. 
  • Analyze data and make recommendations for improvements to processes, procedures, and systems. 
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and growth. 
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies. 
  •  Selecting and coordinating with the procurement department to purchase new and replacement hardware and software. 
  •  Establish, measure, and define IT goals and maintain an IT roadmap. 
  • IT assets inventory management. 

 

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Actively participate in all training sessions as directed by management, including SEA-related training sessions and awareness-raising efforts.  
  • Provide Training sessions as requested by the Project Manager, Administration Manager, or Executive Manager, based on the employee’s area of work and expertise. 
  • Uphold the code of conduct, Child Protection Policy, and all RE policies.  
  • Support for dissemination of PSEA materials.  
  • Report in good faith all potential allegations of SEA (even if not evidenced) through the Child Protection Focal Point.  
  • When requested, participate in investigations of possible SEA allegations.  
  • Coordinate with other staff on the project.  
  • Other tasks as directed by the Management. 

Education, Experience and Skills  

  • Holds a degree in Computer Science, Computer Communication, Information Technology, or any other relevant field.   
  • Extensive knowledge in Cisco and Unifi ubiquity routers and Wi-Fi controllers is required  
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-IT clients and colleagues  
  • Strong knowledge in computer networking and hardware;  
  • At least 3 years of experience in networking and Information technology  
  • A logical approach to problem solving and analyzing  
  • Teamwork skills  
  • Good Organizational and Time management skills to prioritize heavy workloads  
  • the ability to learn quickly  
  • Flexibility and Adaptability

  • Employee must be Based in Mount Lebanon governorate.  
  • Motorized (Have a car) and Driving License
