Monitoring & Evaluation Intern

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of M&E tools and systems aligned with program goals.
• Support data collection efforts from field visits, surveys, and focus group discussions.
• Help maintain and update program databases and documentation.
• Assist with data entry, cleaning, and basic analysis tasks.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
• Participate in learning sessions and workshops with staff to capture lessons learned and best practices.
• Support awareness-raising and basic administrative tasks related to M&E and safeguarding policies.
• Attend meetings and take part in relevant training opportunities to enhance M&E knowledge.

Learning Outcomes:

• Practical understanding of monitoring and evaluation processes and tools.
• Hands-on experience with data management, analysis, and reporting.
• Familiarity with donor reporting requirements and learning frameworks.
• Exposure to field-based data collection and evaluation techniques.
• Awareness of child protection and PSEA standards within NGO operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (or currently enrolled) in social sciences, development studies, statistics, Public Health or related field.
• Interest in data collection, program evaluation, and humanitarian/development work.
• Basic proficiency in Excel
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate within a team environment.
