Consortium Advisor & MEAL Specialist

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main objective of the Consortium M&E specialist & coach is to enable Ruwwad Al Tanmiya in leading the consortium in the qualitative implementation & impact of the project “NAWAT”. In doing so and according to the needs, various organisational aspects of the consortium or of Ruwwad Al Tanmiya as the consortium leader shall be look at.

The coach’s mandate is to ensure the capacitating of the consortium members and providing recommendations and solutions, the coach shall not be implicated in the implementation of the operational project activities.

• To support the establishment of solid working relationship with the three project managers (PMs) and the rest of the implementing team.
• To provide support/advice to the lead Project Manager with the overall management of project implementation and organisation of the day-to-day operations (aligned with work plan) toward successful project completion.
• Develop all MEAL tools that all partners should be implementing and keeping records of all indicators.
• To support the tracking and reviewing of project M&E plan and the reaching of project deliverables.
• To support risk identification/assessment and suggest risks mitigation options as required.
• To support enhanced accountability and effectiveness of the Consortium activities. 
• To ensure the establishment and proper working of the Consortium coordination mechanisms.
• To facilitate the role of Ruwwad as Lead of the Consortium by providing leadership, organizational and management training to Ruwwad.

• To assess and evaluate the capacity off all three NGOs in project management, organizational systems and adherence to quality standards as per donor requirement.
• Based on the assessment, the consultant together with the NGOs will define the topics of the coaching session and training.

1. Qualifications:

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:  Master’s Degree in a social sciences field is preferable

Donor Relation

Project management (specifically in non-profit organizations)

Proven experience and technical ability to manage a large project

Workshop design and facilitation

Coaching & mentoring

Partnership management

Experience:. 5-10 years of proven work experience in a senior programmatic role with non-profits, preferably in livelihoods and economic development programmes

Proven experience in projects funded by institutional donors

PERFORMANCE GOALS:

Scope of Authority

• Obeyed by Ruwwad COC & PSEA policy
• Reports directly to the PM designated for the project.
