Call for Expression of Interest (EOI)

Contracting with, as far as possible, a curriculum development consultant for developing Life Skills through Expressive Arts curriculum.

  1. OVERVIEW

Safadi Foundation is launching the second phase of its Accelerated Vocational Training Centre for the Socio-Economic inclusion in the North. The project’s main overall objective is to stimulate sustainable economic participation of vulnerable youth to promote their inclusion in the development of marginalized communities. In the long-term, inclusion can transform youth socio-economic outlook making them active participants in decreasing unemployment rates and increasing their household income. The specific objective of this project will be to develop youth employability through comprehensive training programmes. Target beneficiaries will have access to accelerated market-based training and self-development programs that will prepare them to increase their competitiveness in the skilled labour market. Finally, the project will aim to strengthen private sector and national actor engagement in active labour market programmes, by participating in developing an effective labour programme leading to significant reduction in identified skills gap.

  1. PURPOSE OF THIS CALL

Safadi Foundation is seeking to identify and pre-select potential consultants capable of developing a Life Skills through Expressive Arts curriculum. The curriculum shall focus on boosting vulnerable youth employability by helping them to know and understand themselves in order to make good life decisions. The curriculum activities must be through expressive arts approaches (drama, crafts, music, etc.) and shall be covering the following topics:

  • Conflict resolution
  • Decision making
  • Enhancing self-confidence
  • Empowering positive communication
  • Defining individual strengths and goals

The curriculum shall be designed to cover 16 hours of training sessions and shall be applicable to host 30 participants per class.

  1. KEY CONSIDERATIONS

This call is opened to qualified, nationally based companies or individuals, fulfilling the pre-selection criteria defined below:

  • If a company: Should be Registered under the Lebanese rules and regulations
  • If an individual: Should have a Ministry of Finance registration number
  • Only those with a strong, proven track record of performance and quality in this field are encouraged to participate.
  • Should be able to provide consultancy services within the area of Tripoli

  1. SUBMISSION OF THE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

Interested companies are invited to submit an EOI to procurement@safadi-foundation.org with the following information:

  1. Name and contact details of the consultancy service provider
  2. A description of the service provider (max 0.5 page)
  3. A detailed description of previous and current experience in delivering a similar service. Kindly include a detailed track-record. (max 1 page)

Attachment of the Supplier legal registration in addition to the Ministry of Finance registration number
