Curriculum Developer

Safadi Foundation is requiring the expertise in Curriculum Development to prepare the curriculum for the training that Safadi foundation aim to implement starting from January 2018   

In close collaboration with project team, the expertise will prepare 2 curricula designed to be in accordance with the needs of the target beneficiaries and the private sector stakeholders.

Design and prepare an efficient training curricula. There will be 2 different hospitality training curricula, “Assistant Chef” and “Waiter”. The “Curriculum Developer” will be responsible for the following tasks:

Conduct research and consult hospitality institutions, private sector and experts to collect new skills needed by the labor market.

Identify challenges faced by the employers while recruiting new qualified staff

Lead in the development of the new curricula

Coordinate the review of the new curricula to ensure that training is meeting intended objectives and requirements.

Develop competency-based evaluation tool for each curriculum.

Develop and  maintain research database  that could be used  to develop and review curricula.
