Employment & Placement Coordinator

1.    To act as the point of contact and liaison with the apprentices and their employers,

2.    Support apprentices during the period of their apprenticeship and provide mediation if necessary,

3.    To positively promote equality of opportunity for apprentices,

4.    Monitoring all aspects of the apprenticeship plan (schedule, attendance, learning skills, performance).

5.    To compile and evaluate statistical data on apprentice performance, overall and timely success and make recommendations and take action as necessary to achieve agreed objectives,

6.    Participate in regular meetings to ensure progress consistency, quality and support is maintained,

7.    Carry out all duties with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations and ensure all contractual requirements are fulfilled at all times.

8.    Creates and delivers presentations and participates in the development and promotion of the apprenticeship model of training and recruitment;

9.    To co-ordinate and participate in events, and promotional activities as required for the fulfillment of the activity

10.  To present Safadi Institute for Accelerated Vocation training center as a professional organization at all times,

11.  Any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Accelerated Vocational training center

Application Submission Guidelines
Required: The candidate should have: - Thorough understanding of related placement “apprenticeship” and employment frameworks, - In-depth knowledge of work based learning procedures and policies, - Knowledge of profiling and targeting employers, - Ability to approach employers and establish placement “apprenticeship” MOUs with them, - Ability to work independently and matters are referred to the position’s supervisor when the consequences of a decision are likely to be critical to the Apprenticeship Program. - Professional experience in training and development, - Ability to set and monitor performance and qualitative targets, - Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, - Flexibility around working hours to ensure deadlines are met. Additional requirements: - Previous experience in placement “apprenticeship” and employment related to construction field. - Current full driving license with permanent access to a vehicle
