Young people face limited opportunities for education and training, viable employment and accessible health and social services, which are resulting in incidences such as delinquency contributing to slow socioeconomic growth. Through this project, Safadi Foundation will focus on young people in North Lebanon, who are committed to seeking a productive purpose for their lives. The Foundation will work with 125 youth, empowering them with relevant technical and life skills that are in demand in various industries to transform them into productive and participating citizens. The first objective is to increase youth employability by building the capacities of vulnerable youth based on labor market demands in Lebanon and link them with decent job opportunities. The project also aims at raising employer awareness in enhancing and investing in workforce capacities in order to highlight the value of a strong workforce for their business missions.
Therefore, Safadi Foundation is requiring the expertise and skills of a Trainer for the training that Safadi foundation aim to implement starting from January 2018, in appliance with the set curricula
In close collaboration with project team and Consultant (Curriculum Developer), the Trainer will conduct the training curricula designed to be in accordance with the needs of the target beneficiaries and the private sector stakeholders.
Conduct an efficient training for 125 youth from vulnerable neighborhoods in Lebanon. There will be 2 different hospitality training curricula, “Assistant Chef” and “Waiter”. The “Trainer” will be responsible for the following tasks:
Overall training plan & justification of the methodology & duration
Detailed Agenda for the training
Training modules and handout materials for participants
Facilitation and delivery of the training sessions
Training workshop report with recommendations
Keep attendance and other records
Analyze key jobs and roles to determine the knowledge and skills necessary for high performance and then develop success profiles for these key roles
Undertake the needed changes, additions or omissions to the training materials (pilot curricula) with a view to finalizing it in accordance to the project aims
Has a good experience in delivering training about leadership, communication, self - presentation and self esteem, team building and negotiation and conflict resolution in the workplace.
