Senior Social Officer

- Participates in planning and Managing the development of the Social sector Strategic Plan in consultation with the sector Manager and Foundation Board - Prepares and submits bi-weekly and annual report - Plans, organizes, administers and coordinates Social projects and services in coordination with sector manager and team; sets evaluation indicators in coordination with sector manager, evaluates projects and services and makes recommendations for improvement. - Analyzes statistics, performs research on social programs, projects and funding opportunities - Assists in seeking funding for programs’ improvement and projects submissions;  writes grant proposals in coordination with the sector Manager and team. - Manages and supervises implementation of some funded projects - Provides technical support for projects written by the Social sector team - Submits reports to donors - Visits the development centers related to the Social Sector of the Safadi Foundation when necessary - Arranges for periodic meetings with Sector Manager and team - Trains the social sector team when needed - Participates in creating strong relationships with Municipalities, Ministries, local and national NGO's and local community  - Represents the Sector at public meetings, conferences, trainings; coordinates the attendance with the management. - Maintain current knowledge of new projects implemented and developments in the Social field. - Performs other related work as required.
