PSS trainer for PWDs (cognitive) and their caregivers -Tripoli (7 sessions)

Conduct a need assessment for the target group who are youth and adults with disabilities to identify the vulnerability and the need of PSS sessions in line with inter-agency selection criteria.

Developing the training content including the agenda, training methodology, handouts, evaluation forms and pre and post tests, which will be discussed and approved by SALAM LADC team.

Prepare a set of structured psycho-social support activities by carefully reading the PSS SOPs and Curriculum Manuals and preparing all required material and equipment in advance. Knowing that the activities should be gender sensitize and inclusive.

Adapt the set of activities to be gender sensitize and inclusive taking in consideration the types of disability for the participants.

Carry out all tasks respecting the key protection principles including but not limited to: do no harm, non-discrimination, confidentiality and accountability

Prepare a detailed report about the  sessions of intervention  indicating the objectives of the activities, the progress and the interaction of the participants as well as the reflections and the adaptation plan implemented when needed.

Participate in a weekly meeting with the Project Manager  and the Project focal point for an overall monitoring of the work plan. 

Ensure that the proper documentation of data collected (hard and soft copies) during Group PSS activities (attendance sheets, permission slips, referrals etc.) respected the data safety protocol.

Ensure a safe, friendly and non-discriminatory environment is upheld during all group PSS sessions.
