Main Function: We are looking for someone with an interest in using skills developed through working with social media to help develop our social media strategy and manage our channels.
Responsibilities:
Creating and maintaining social media schedule
Ensuring regular updates are provided by project coordinators and focal points
Sending regular newsletters to Salam database
Building Salam's social media presence and diversifying output
Essential Criteria:
Fluent in English written and oral.
Experience managing social media channels for an organisation
Experience of developing engaging video content
Good copywriting skills
Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with a diverse range of people
Desirable:
Experience with humanitarian work
Interest in the refugee crisis and the grassroots movement
Innovative approach to social media as a tool to create engagement and build audience
Experience of fundraising using social media
Experience of working with crowdfunding sites
