The selected candidate will be working under a consultancy contract; length of the contract (four
to six weeks) to be defined and specified based on discussions with selected candidate.
Expected deliverables:
- Review SAMS HR Policy, provide suggestions and recommendations for improvements;
- Under the guidance of the Country Director, develop an HR Lebanon Manual abiding by
the Lebanon local labor laws as well as SAMS HR policy standards;
- Develop annexes to the HR policy contextualized to the Lebanon local labor laws;
- Develop HR tools and templates as per SAMS HR policy and manual and in compliance
with the local labor laws.
- Develop guidelines for HR processes as per the HR policy (recruitment processes,
termination processes, performance appraisals etc..)
- Develop disciplinary procedures and steps documents as per HR SAMS policy and
Lebanese local labor laws;
- Prepare archiving process documents for HR department;
- Prepare a draft of SAMS Lebanon salary scale;
- Include Safeguarding and PSEA in all HR related documents, procedures and
guidelines;
- Support Finance and Operations department to with the payroll process as per local
labor laws;
- Under the guidance of the Country Director, prepare and deliver an orientation session
to all SAMS Lebanon on the HR Lebanon manual, processes and templates.
Requirements and specifications:
Degree in Human Resources or a minimum of 8 years of HR experience work;
5 to 7 years’ experience working with international organizations in senior Human
Resources capacity;
Excellent command of English and Arabic both written and verbal;
Good time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines;
Ability to work under pressure;
Flexibility to work from SAMS offices in Beirut or from home, as required;
Training delivery skills;
Good research and analytical skills
