SAMS has zero-tolerance for Sexual Exploitation and Abuse of beneficiaries. Protection from
Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) is everyone's responsibility and all staff are required to
adhere to the Code of Conduct, which enshrines principles of PSEA, always (both during work
hours and outside work hours). Familiarization with, and adherence to, the Code of Conduct is
an essential requirement of all staff, in addition to related mandatory training. All staff must
ensure that they understand and act by this clause.
The MEAL Officer’s responsibility is to coordinate and support the implementation of
monitoring, evaluation, Accountability, and Learning of all project activities
 Handling Complaint procedure/Mechanism: Hotline operation, safe logging, planning,
follow-up and closure of cases
 Presenting monthly reports regarding the activities achievement
 Performance versus target projection indicator tracker table presented on monthly basis
 Data cleaning, storing and analyzing data related to SAMS projects activities.
 Real-time response to Project-Specific M&E needs
 Implementing proper data flow and feedback between project staff according to roles
and context through processing tools
 Ensuring that all SAMS activities are recorded
 Capacities building of staff with data tasks / responsibilities / data focal points
 Leading on needs / capacity assessments and recipient selection studies as required
 Conducting data collection for evaluation activities (e.g. Satisfaction surveys, FGDs)
 Updating processing tools based on feedback from programs and changing elements on
the field
 Maintaining the MEAL Master Workbook
 Conducting and implementing employment Power BI (or another visualization tool) for
data visualization
 Responding to project needs as they arise and provide relevant information to inform
specific program functions
