communication Officer

Under the mission of “Thriving Together towards communal solidarity for dignified living in Lebanon,” Sanabel Al Nour, a local NGO established in 1995, is committed to supporting the most vulnerable communities in Tripoli through holistic development, humanitarian approach, and multi-sectoral projects.

Sanabel is committed to improving the well-being of orphans, including those with disabilities, from both Lebanese and refugee communities. As part of this mission, we prioritize food security and nutrition to ensure every child has access to safe, healthy meals to avoid hunger and prevent malnutrition.

Under the framework of the Shabake 2 project, in partnership with Expertise France, we are seeking Communication Officer to join Sanabel Al Nour team.

Introduction

As the Communication Officer for the food security and well-being program, you will be responsible for creating all visibility needed such as rollup banners, stickers, vests, designs and videos. Your role will be showcasing the program's impact and engage with stakeholders and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a social media strategy to promote posts and videos to increase program awareness.
2. Manage video distribution across Sanabel Nour's social media platforms to optimize visibility and engagement.
3. Work with program staff to collect success stories and content for multimedia materials.
4. Ensure all communications maintain ethical standards and protect beneficiaries' dignity and privacy.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in social media design and content creation
• Skilled in producing informative videos and visual content
• Fluent in both Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
