Sanabel is committed to improving the well-being of orphans, including those with disabilities, from both Lebanese and refugee communities. As part of this mission, we prioritize food security and nutrition to ensure every child has access to safe, healthy meals to avoid hunger and prevent malnutrition.
Under the framework of the Shabake 2 project, in partnership with Expertise France, we are seeking Head Chef to join Sanabel Al Nour team.
Introduction
As the Chef for the food security program, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of nutritious hot meals for beneficiaries, ensuring that they are high quality and meet the program’s dietary requirements. Your role is important in providing leadership and guidance to the cooking staff to ensure the success of the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee the preparation of hot meals for beneficiaries, ensuring that they are nutritious, safe, and high quality.
- Develop menus that meet the nutritional needs of beneficiaries and adhere to program guidelines.
- Supervise and train cooking staff to ensure that they follow proper food safety and hygiene practices.
- Monitor food supplies and equipment inventory, and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Ensure that all food safety standards and regulations are followed.
- Maintain accurate records of meal preparation, including menus and recipes.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in preparing food and hot meals, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency
