Monitor and Evaluation Officer

Qualifications:

• University Degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics or related field.
  with at least 3 years of experience in the design and implementation of M&E/MIS in development projects implemented by national/international NGOs.
• Preferably experienced in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports, analyzing data using statistical software;
• Strong training & facilitation skills.
• Good writing, analytical, research and problem‐solving skills.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English/French language.

Responsibilities:

• • Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures.
  • Lead role in overseeing data collection, collation, storage, analysis, and reporting, ensuring that data is of high quality and audit worthy.
  • Development of the M&E Plan for each project, including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, database management, and developing M&E and/ performance monitoring plans.
  • Manage research activities and ensure outcomes and lessons learned are integrated into the project and shared with relevant stakeholders.
  • Recommend further improvement of the logical frame work;
  • Monitor and evaluate overall progress and sustainability of project’s results
  • Prepare Quarterly/Annual reports on project progress and monitor the project activities on a regular basis, developing and maintaining the MIS of projects.
  • Good knowledge of program implementation, monitoring and evaluation techniques and practices.
  • Good understanding of structure and processes in NGOs.
