Senior Female Accountant

Qualifications & Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

-Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, preferably with NGOs

-Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

-Experience with donor-funded projects is an asset

-Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

 

Key Responsibilities

-Manage and supervise daily accounting operations and financial records

-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

-Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

-Ensure compliance with local laws, donor requirements, and internal policies

-Review and approve financial transactions, vouchers, and reconciliations

-Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes

-Monitor grants, projects, and program expenditures

-Provide financial guidance to management and program teams
