Fundraising Officer

Under The supervision and guidance of SANAD’s president, the Focal Point Will take lead in developing, planning and implementing a fundraising strategy with clear objectives and action plans.
This will include the following key tasks:

  • Build on and expand the current fundraising projects, events and activities outreach, plans. This includes private sector partnerships, individual annual donations, annual fundraising events, and other fundraising activities.
  • Maintain and expand on the Donor Database and ensure continuous communication with them through update reports, newsletters, fundraising events invitations, etc.
  • Ensure full-fledged and detailed time-lined action plans for all fundraising projects, events and activities.
  • Research, prepare and submit high quality funding proposals and applications, and also post-funding reports to trusts, corporate trusts and foundations.
  • Coordinate a schedule of applications, follow-ups, reports and donor meetings.
  • Maintain, develop and expand on the Organization’s presence on third party fundraising platforms (JustGiving etc.).
  • Continuously research and identify new and creative fundraising concepts,
  • Draw and create detailed plans and execution of income generating small businesses; including evaluating their performances, processes, and end results.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of the eCommerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices and industry trends.
  • Write a monthly progress report to Director.
  • Contribute to the write-up of SANAD’s annual report to its donors and network of supporters.

Qualifications

  • Holder of a bachelor degree relevant to the social development, social entrepreneurship and marketing.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience. Volunteer experience is an asset.
  • Skills in administrative performance, which includes communication, both written and oral and organizational skills.
  • Flexible, proactive, problem solver, trustworthy, and willing to accommodate for difficult and unexpected situations.
  • Fluent In Arabic and English. French is an asset.
  • High level of computer literacy including skills in
