Case Management And Community Mobilization Officer

Save the Children has been operating in Lebanon since 1999 and is recognized for its commitment to accountability, innovation and collaboration.  Save the Children currently implements programs in Child Protection, Education, CRC and Emergency Response throughout Lebanon.   Save the Children is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the following positions, on 5 or 6 month contracts, for its Lebanon Country Office, in Akkar:   Case Management and Community Mobilization Officer (Kubayyat- Akkar) The Case Management and Community Mobilization Officer will support the Child Protection Coordinator in the set-up and management of a case management and community mobilization programme ensuring that activities are monitored and delivered to a high quality.  He/ she will supervise and coach case workers on the identification, assessment, documentation, referral (to relevant services) and follow-up of at-risk children and families (Case Management). He/ she will also facilitate, collect and report information regarding the overall situation of child protection risks in Wadi Khaled.   Job Requirements: Degree in education, social work or social sciences Extensive work experience of working directly with adolescents Experience of having worked in NGOs Excellent communication skills with adolescents and parents Experience in project management and supervision of staff (Desirable) Ability to write weekly and monthly reports Fluency in written and spoken Arabic, and either English or French Commitment  to  and  understanding  of  Save  the  Children’s  aims,  values  and principles  including rights-based approaches APPLICATION PROCESS   Please note that the closing date for applications is Oct 28th.   The selection committee will review all applications as they are received.
