Data Base Officer

The successful candidate shall report to the Information and Communications Advisor; responsible for data entry and data for the Emergency Committee. Some clerical work may be required. Key deliverables: Establishment and maintenance of database as per the requirements of the MEHE; Guidelines and manuals for database at central and decentralized levels; Works within Capacity Building frameworks to train MEHE and communication colleagues at central and decentralized levels; Identifies and provides on-the-job training to key MEHE staff members to continue as focal points for database management. Requirements of the successful candidate: Bachelor’s degree in information management; Minimum 3 years of experience related to database and information management, with excellent knowledge of best practices, innovation; Strong interest and commitment to humanitarianism, and ensuring all children in Lebanon have access to education; Demonstrable experience in database establishment and maintenance; Experience in training and working on capacity building frameworks, operational training plans, and training across centralized and decentralized levels; Excellent communication, presentation and training skills; Flexible problem-solving approach to working in national crises; Fluency in Arabic and fluency in either French or English.
